Welcome to Twigs and Glass.net! Our tables and mirrors are unique, one-of-a-kind creations handcrafted from bent birch twigs & branches and coloured glass mosaic. The individuality of each twig and branch makes every piece we craft different, while the incredible variety of coloured glass available allows for endless combinations. We harvest the birch trees from our own land in a careful and resepectful manner to maximize the growth of the remaining trees. All parts of harvested trees are used. Our mirrors and tables are hand-built using sturdy branches and bendable twigs. Coloured stained glass is cut and glued to fit within a pattern, and then the glass is grouted several times. Finally, the twigs and branches are rubbed with a copper laquer to highlight the natural variations of the bark. The combination of natural twigs and manmade glass results in a piece that is highly functional, incredibly tactile, and definitely unique!
